As Shanghai Fashion Week shifts to an online format due to the COVID-19 outbreak, DFO is among the first multi-label showrooms in China to explore showroom campaigns digitally. In lieu of the Coronavirus COVID-19 situation, DFO launches a fully integrated online and offline showroom for its AW20 season. DFO’s showroom in downtown Shanghai is open for one month to welcome buyers at their convenience. Buyers who are not able to visit can place orders via DFO’s online platform which provides detailed photo and video content, live streaming sessions and possibility for one-on-one buyer appointments digitally.

At a press conference in Shanghai, DFO and TRANOÏ announced with the support of Shanghai Fashion Week the launch of NOVA by DFO & TRANOÏ. The project is a brand-new format featuring a hybrid marketing and business platform, aimed at providing the first truly international and transparent experience for fashion brands accessing the Chinese market.
DFO International is glad to work even more closely with its strategic partner, TRANOÏ, the leading Parisian tradeshow in organizing the second edition of TRANOÏ SHANGHAI. Hosted by Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Fashion Week showcases top design talents from around the world within the frames of a special cultural andbusiness event. Its joint spaces from catwalk to shows spanned over 25,000 sqm, where over 1,000 brands showcased their latest designs. The success was hailed by Business of Fashion as “Shanghai’s Bid to Conquer Asian Fashion” (Apri 25, 2017). For SS18, DFO organised the 8th edition of largest private showroom event in China.

Fashion label ELLIATT opened its very first store at Citic Square, one of the most bustling areas in downtown Shanghai. The Australian brand launched in China 18 months ago by designer Katie Pratt and jewelry entrepreneur Amy Li. Celebrating the opening of the first store of 15 standalone boutiques, ELLIATT held a launch party on the 4th of August with the contribution and PR services of DFO.
