Working with brands including Sonia Rykiel, Onward Luxury Group, Manish Arora, Nicopanda, and Ksenia Schnaider, DFO is proud to launch the DI:TALENT initiative, where we apply our valuable know-how to assist young and rising fashion talents to develop sales in the Chinese market.
The winner, chosen by DFO and leading fashion buyers across China, receives a package of services for the duration of 12 months to help initiating a successful market entry.
· A free space in DFO’s SS20 Shanghai Fashion Week Showroom
· Distribution contract with DFO (where DFO receives a discount from wholesale prices on all confirmed orders for marketing and sales services provided)
· Exposure to +1,500 buyers from China and Greater China market
· A 6-month basic consultancy on development of the collection, starting prior to the event
· Basic press services
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges including DFO’s CEO, Meimei Ding and leading fashion buyers across China.
This program is open to all ready-to-wear designers who have produced at least four womenswear, menswear, or unisex collections and have a minimum of ten stockist worldwide.
The application deadline is 28 February, 2019.
