DFO PRESENTS AN AMAZING LINEUP OF 40 LEADING FASHION BRANDS ACROSS 4 STYLE CATEGORIES IN ITS 9TH SHOWROOM EDITION AT SHANGHAI FASHION WEEK.
As China’s largest commercial showroom for leading international and Chinese brands, DFO’s 9th showroom edition at Shanghai Fashion Week continues to address the latest Autumn-Winter 2018 trends through 4 style categories, across a strong portfolio of 40 brands from around the world.
This season, SONIA RYKIEL, the iconic Parisian house from Saint Germain des Prés, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with DFO by presenting in exclusivity the Manifesto collection. SWAROVSKI returns for a 4th consecutive season as a special guest. In the affordable luxury section PAULE KA dazzles with classic French elegance. For the millennial youth, Manish Arora and NICOPANDA present their collections directly from London and Paris fashion week runways.
Representing brands from China, REINEREN and by FANG are accompanied by ZHANG SHUAI and M-77, the Womenswear and Menswear collections created by China’s top celebrity stylist by the same name.
For selected group of key buyers and press form Shanghai and surrounding areas, DFO organised a Preview that unveiled the most awaited collections of the season prior to Shanghai Fashion Week. For AW18 season the event took place at DI:LOFT, DFO’s very own 3 story loft space in downtown Shanghai. Participating brands included Manish Arora, NICOPANDA, and more, presenting ZHANG SHUAI, the womenswear line created by China’s top celebrity stylist by the same name.
Straight from London and Paris, style icon Nicola Formichetti lands his personal streetwear brand at Shanghai Fashion Week this March. Blending standout looks with comfortably wearable shapes, NICOPANDA will be one of the special highlights at DFO’s 9th edition as China’s largest commercial showroom.

Hosted by Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Fashion Week showcases top design talents from around the world within the frames of a special cultural andbusiness event. Its joint spaces from catwalk to shows spanned over 25,000 sqm, where over 1,000 brands showcased their latest designs. The success was hailed by Business of Fashion as “Shanghai’s Bid to Conquer Asian Fashion” (Apri 25, 2017). For SS18, DFO organised the 8th edition of largest private showroom event in China.
In collaboration with Finpro – a public organization that helps Finnish SMEs go international – DFO launched a pop-up store for emerging fashion designers from Finland. The Finnish Gallery POP-UP Store presenting LOVIA, LUMI, Myssyfarmi, VEJITS and Vestiarium is open till 16 November at DI:LOFT, our 600 square meters loft space in Xintiandi, Shanghai.

From the SS18 Season, the Paris-based luxury brand, Emanuel Ungaro, is joining China’s leading fashion management group, DFO International. With a new international strategy, Ungaro is initiating an expansion plan in China under the creative direction of the brand’s recently nominated womenswear designer, Marco Colagrossi.
With the introduction of DI:LOFT, DFO opened its brand new 3 storey loft space in the heart of Xintiandi, Shanghai. Expanding the venue of TES – The Edit Space by DFO – to over 600 square meters, the recently renovated building is now the new home and showroom of DFO. Situated in Shanghai’s uber-hip fashion compound on #751 Huangpi Road, DI:LOFT is surrounded by top model agencies, photos studios, stylist and fashion PR offices.
Starting with the SS18 Preview, DI:LOFT has already hosted two highly successful events. With an attendance of more than 40 clients and 8 brands including PORTSPURE – the diffusion line of PORTS 1961, DISAYA, and a special collaboration with P+, China’s top multi-label boutique chain, the SS18 Preview has been followed by a KOL live streaming sales event with more than 1 million viewers across China.
From SS18, DI:LOFT is going to be one of the main venues of Shanghai Fashion Week for DFO Showroom.
The VIP Preview for SS18 is kicking off this week on the 24th of August with PORTSPURE, Disaya, Mary Frances, Sol Sana and many others in DI:LOFT, DFO’s very own 3-storey building in the heart of Xintiandi. The Melbourne based ASILIO, designed by Cynthia Farchione is featured in the latest issue of Marie Claire China with the Italian luxury brand, BULGARI.
Fashion label ELLIATT opened its very first store at Citic Square, one of the most bustling areas in downtown Shanghai. The Australian brand launched in China 18 months ago by designer Katie Pratt and jewelry entrepreneur Amy Li. Celebrating the opening of the first store of 15 standalone boutiques, ELLIATT held a launch party on the 4th of August with the contribution and PR services of DFO.
